We aim for a dog with speed and ground covering ability; bird finders that point with style and are capable of catching the judges' eye. We have bred over 100 field winner-- including twelve field champions, eight of which also became dual champions. I have attended field trials all over the United States and Canada, as a competitor, judge and reporter to some of the major championships and have enjoyed the sport for most of my life. Here are some of our favorites......

Dual Champion Kinwashkly Moonlight Serenade, pictured here at 10 months of age, owned by Fay Walker. "Sara" (OFA good) had a succesful field trial career, followed by a good record as a producer. Sara is the dam of a dual champion, eight field champions, three show champions (including a best in futurity winner) and many other winners. Sara is the grandmother of 1995 National Field Champion Ramblin' Rose VII. Sara is a daughter of National Field Ch./Dual Ch. ToMar's Ban Dee Sam and Ch. Flint's Kinwashkly Queen, C.D.

Ch. Kinwashkly Crash Test Dummy, at 9 years of age with shaved coat. "Tess" retired as a brood bitch a couple of years ago, and in very limited trialing in the United States needs one win for her AKC field championship. Tess is also a specialty Best of Breed winner.

Ch. Kinwashkly Jumpin' Jack Flash, owned by Jodi Miller, winner of the 2002 Southern Open Brittany Derby Classic, the 2002 R.D. Hinson Derby Classic, the 2002 Victoire Nationale Derby Classic (one hour heat), the Open All Age, Tarheel Brittany Club, fall 2003 (one hour heats) Flash needs one win to finish his dual championship. Dual Champion Kinwashkly Shady Lady, owned by Clem
and Marilynne Little, trained and handled by Dave Walker, shown out in the
desert during training.
Field Ch. Kinwashkly Lady Jane, F.D. was the most exciting running dog I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Jane was also my favourite house dog, calm and well behaved, but always ready to go when you needed her. Jane passed away at at 13 years of age.

Field Champion Kinwashkly Canadian Classic,F.D. Classy was a real sweetheart, our house dog for many years, and one of the most biddable dogs imaginable. She could win a field trial one day, put game in the bag the next and sleep underneath the bed in between. She is much missed.

Kinwashkly Smooth Systems, owned by Gordon and Georgia Barrett, handled by Dave Walker, was the winner of the 1985 Dual Dog Award at the Western Futurity.

Ch. Kinwashkly Gibbs Runner, 2000 Top Derby Dog in Canada, for All Breeds.

Dual Ch. Kinwashkly Red Patches pointing sharptails on the Canadian prairies at 10 years of age. Red won the 1978 Victoire Nationale and also had a specialty Best of Breed win, as well as many dual awards.
