OUR NEXT LITTER... We are planning a litter that will be born very early in 2009. Sire is FC/AFC Megasmoke Limited Edition (OFA good) a top all age contender, with major show points, with the dam being our Ch. Kinwashkly Lucky Star (OFA good). This will be Lucky's last litter. All puppies will be orange and white. They should be good bird dogs for field trials and hunting and some may be show quality. And below we have profiles on our three present brood bitches-all of which are show champions with field trial wins and OFA certificates. Lucky, Magic, and Val are all worked in the field several times a week, and are hunting dogs and pets as well. If you are interested in a puppy from any one of these girls, please let me know.
Ch. Kinwashkly Lucky Star (OFA certified good hips) Lucky is sired by National Amateur Field Ch./FC/AFC Walker's Gunner (OFA certified good hips) out of Ch. Kinwashkly Crash Test Dummy (OFA certified good hips). Lucky is a fast, wide running shooting dog with a good nose, brains and a terrific attitude towards training. Lucky has puppy, derby, and gun dog wins and placements in AKC, CKC, and American Field trials. Lucky was the number 4# Open puppy (all breeds) In Canadian Kennel Club trials for 2001, which is pretty remarkable when you consider that Lucky was born in 2001, and was seven months old when we went to our last field trial that year. Lucky is a big, strongly built, white and orange female with a good topline and a tremendous ground covering gait. Lucky loves the show ring and has several Best of Breed wins. Lucky was the wildest puppy ever, but grew up to be a quiet and well behaved adult. She loves everybody! Lucky is well known for her ability as an escape artist. Lucky has produced puppies that are winning in the field and in the show ring, like Cedar, Crash, Junior, Gabe, Mitzie, Charlie, Jammer , Ben, Charm and Bob. Most of her puppies have gone to hunters who are impressed with their ability, brains and retrieving. (There are more pictures of Lucky on the home page, and in our recent winners page.)

American and Canadian Ch. Kinwashkly Katydid Magic, J.H. (OFA certified good hips) Magic is sired by Ch. Magic Sirly You Jest, J.H. (OFA certified fair hips) out of Dual Ch. Kinwashkly Sunshine Girl (OFA certified excellent hips) Magic is a close working gun dog, our personal hunting dog, with one field trial placement. Magic is a quick moving, animated bird dog with style on point, a great nose, biddable, a natural backer, a soft mouthed retriever, with a special talent for retrieving cripples. Magic is a well built, good moving, feminine, deep orange and white bitch, small in stature, with a beautiful coat. She has many Best of Breed wins, was Best Opposite Sex and Award of Merit at the 2005 Canadian National Specialty, and was 2nd money bitch at the American Brittany Club Eastern Futurity spring of 2006. In her only Canadian show in 2006, Magic got Best of Breed with an entry of 27, and then went on to place third in the sporting group with 174 dogs entered. In only four American shows, Magic finished with two five point majors, one four point major and one three point major. Magic has lots of attitude both inside and outside of the ring, and is certainly the boss dog around here. Magic is a one person dog, and I am that person. Magic's sons are doing well with Ch. Jesse is winning in the show ring and in field trials, and Chipper with show points. (More pictures of Magic can be found in the recent winners section.)

Ch.Kinwashkly French Velour (OFA certified fair hips) "Val" is sired by Dual Ch. The Whiz Kid (OFA certified excellent hips) out of Dual Ch. Kinwashkly Sunshine Girl (OFA certified excellent hips) Val has all age range, speed and style, and will be working on becoming a dual champion. She has wins and placements in puppy, derby and adult stakes in AKC, CKC and American Field trial stakes. She is broke to wing and shot and will be resuming a field trial career soon. Val is exciting to watch and not for the faint of heart because of her speed and range. Val is an attractive, medium sized, slimly built bitch with good bone, tight feet and a flat, sleek coat. Val was Winner's Bitch at the 2005 Canadian National Specialty. Val has a sweet, mellow temper and loves kids. Val is the dam of "Ned" from her first litter with Mac Magoo, and "Wiley" from her second litter by RC's Rone Ranger. ( More pictures of Val are on Recent Winners page.)

Our puppies are all futurity nominated, individually Canadian Kennel Club registered, tattooed, guaranteed in writing against hip and health problems, come with a four generation pedigree, their first vaccinations, dewormed, tails docked and dewclaws removed. Shipping will be paid by the new owner if it is required. All puppies are handled a lot and are well socialized. She is a great moving, cobby 17 1/2" female, pictured here winning 3rd Money Female in the show futurity. Tess has many field trial placements and was No. 6# Puppy 1997 and No. 4# Derby 1998 (All Breeds). She is fast, stylish, smart and a great natural retriever to boot. She has produced many dual type winners from every litter she has had including Ch. Kinwashkly Gibbs Runner, Number One Derby Dog All Breeds in Canada for 2000. |
