This is Jasper (born March 2006) with Mr. Boots, our cat. Jasper belongs to Dana and Terry Roman. He is a son of Dual Ch. Kinwashkly Mac Magoo, F.D.J. ex Ch. Kinwashkly French Velour.
Our spring puppies for 2011 are in their new homes in Montana, Idaho, Iowa, Florida, Saskatchewan and Alberta. Watch for Biscuit, Red Menace, Corbett, Dakota, Tempo and Ruby in field trials and shows in the future!
Our last 2011 "litter" arrived September 18th, its a single male puppy (pictured above) sired by Ch. Kinwashkly Perty Chipper, C.D. -"Chipper" (OFA good) out of Ch. Kinwashkly Silver Charm (OFA excellent). We kept Smokey for our own, watch for him in field trials and shows in 2012.
Our next litters will be born early spring of 2012. We will be having the very last litter from Magic, to be sired by Dual Ch. Kinwashkly Roscius Zoomer,
Dual Ch. Kinwashkly Roscius Zoomer (OFA good) owned and handled by Allen and Syd Norman, completed his AKC dual championship with wins in the Open All Age, Amateur All Age, as well as puppy and derby, placing 4th in the 2006 Western All Age futurity and taking 2nd money male in the show futurity. Zoomer has produced winners from his first litter. We are are proud of Zoomer as the 10th dual champion we have bred. Zoomer is the dog in the left picture. Magic, the dam, is American and Canadian Ch. Kinwashkly Katydid Magic, J.H. (OFA good), our favourite hunting dog. Magic has derby placements as well as a Junior Hunter title, but her real forte is upland hunting. She had a very good show career as well, with futurity/specialty/group wins to her credit. Magic (right hand picture of those above) is the dam of 3 show champions and 4 field trial winners. The pedigree of these puppies contain Dual Champions like Kinwashkly Sunshine Girl, War Dancer and RC's Sundancer (Hall of Fame), field champions like The Time Machine, The County Lawyer, Jerob's Magic Tradewinds, Carol's Little Ruffian, Franklin County Bandit (National Field Champion), Rimarda's Trademark (Hall of Fame), and The Magic Moment (Hall of Fame), and show champions like Kinwashkly Nutmeg, Magic Sirly You Jest, J.H. (33 Best In Shows, two time Group 1st at Westminster), Kinwashkly Red Apache, Kinwashkly Katydid It, Sterling Oak's Sir Bentley (Best in Show winner), Jordean Millette Magic Maker, Kinwashkly Amelia Airhead, C.D., Chilcote's Bent Oak Creditor, Paragon's Fantasia, and Millette's Make My Day. These puppies are sure to be very good looking deep orange and white dual prospects.
Our second litter of 2012 will be sired by Dual Ch. Kinwashkly ML Benjamin Patrick (OFA excellent) out of Ch. Kinwashkly Defiant Diefenbaker (OFA excellent).
Dual Ch. Kinwashkly ML Benjamin Patrick, owned by Tom Doherty of Red Deer, Alberta, finished his dual championship at 3 years of age, to become the 9th Brittany we have bred to become a dual champion. Ben placed 4th in the 2009 Western All Age futurity. This will be the first litter he sires. Ben is pictured above, on the left. Diefenbaker has many juvenile placements in field trials including puppy points. Right now, Dief is away being broke to wing and shot by Ben Lorenson, but she will be back here in the spring. This will be Diefenbaker's first litter. Dief is pictured above on the right. And below we have profiles on our three present brood bitches-all of which are show champions with field trial wins and OFA certificated. Charm, Magic, and Diefenbaker are all worked in the field several times a week, and are hunting dogs and pets as well. Ch. Kinwashkly Silver Charm (OFA certified excellent hips) Charm is sired by Dual Ch. & AFC Kinwashkly Smoking Hank (OFA certified excellent hips) out of Ch. Kinwashkly Lucky Star (OFA certified good hips). Charm is a fast, medium range gun dog with a good nose,and was solidly pointing at a young age plus natural backing and retrieving instinct. She has been a lot of fun to hunt with, as she wants to please and puts birds in the bag. Charm has derby placements in AKC and CKC Field trials. Charm also has three legs toward her Junior Hunter title. Charm is a small, typey white and orange female with a good head and a tremendous ground covering gait. Charm has a Best of Breed win. Charm is very easy to live with, and loves children. Charm is going to have her first litter in 2010, and we are looking forward to seeing what she produces. She is tightly linebred. She should produce good bird dogs!

American and Canadian Ch. Kinwashkly Katydid Magic, J.H. (OFA certified good hips) Magic is sired by Ch. Magic Sirly You Jest, J.H. (OFA certified fair hips) out of Dual Ch. Kinwashkly Sunshine Girl (OFA certified excellent hips) Magic is a close working gun dog, our personal hunting dog, with one field trial placement. Magic is a quick moving, animated bird dog with style on point, a great nose, biddable, a natural backer, a soft mouthed retriever, with a special talent for retrieving cripples. Magic is a well built, good moving, feminine, deep orange and white bitch, small in stature, with a beautiful coat. She has many Best of Breed wins, was Best Opposite Sex and Award of Merit at the 2005 Canadian National Specialty, and was 2nd money bitch at the American Brittany Club Eastern Futurity spring of 2006. In her only Canadian show in 2006, Magic got Best of Breed with an entry of 27, and then went on to place third in the sporting group with 174 dogs entered. In only four American shows, Magic finished with two five point majors, one four point major and one three point major. Magic has lots of attitude both inside and outside of the ring, and is certainly the boss dog around here. Magic is a one person dog, and I am that person. Magic's sons are doing well with Ch. Jesse ( winning in the show ring and in field trials) and Ch. Chipper,C.D. (High in Trial winner), Ch.Kidd FDJ (field placements) and Max FDJ(puppy points) . Ch.Kinwashkly Defiant Diefenbaker (OFA certified excellent hips) "Diefenbaker" is sired by Dual Ch. Kinwashkly Mac Magoo, FDJ (OFA certified excellent hips) out of Ch. Kinwashkly French Velour (OFA certified fair hips) Diefenbaker is a hard driving bird dog with range, speed and style, and will be working on becoming a dual champion. She has wins and placements in puppy and derby in AKC, and CKC stakes. She is being broke to wing and shot right now and will be resuming a field trial career soon. Diefenbaker is fun to watch because of her love for the game, speed and range. Val is an attractive, small, short coupled typey bitch with good bone, tight feet and a flat, sleek coat. Diefenbaker had a Best of Breed win over a special for a major on the way to her championship, but mostly she did not enjoy showing at all.. Our puppies are all futurity nominated, individually Canadian Kennel Club registered, tattooed, guaranteed in writing against hip and health problems, come with a four generation pedigree, their first vaccinations, dewormed, tails docked and dewclaws removed. Shipping will be paid by the new owner if it is required. All puppies are handled a lot and are well socialized. Our puppies are reasonable priced for top quality American and Canadian field and show (dual) breeding.

At left is one of our brood bitches. Ch Kinwashkly Crash Test Dummy (OFA Good). We considered "Tess" our best female. She was a great moving, cobby 17 1/2" female, pictured here winning 3rd Money Female in the show futurity. Tess had many field trial placements and was No. 6# Puppy 1997 and No. 4# Derby 1998 (All Breeds). She was fast, stylish, smart and a great natural retriever to boot. She produced dual type winners from every litter she has had including Ch. Kinwashkly Gibbs Runner, Number One Derby Dog All Breeds in Canada for 2000, and a top all age contender in FC/AFC Kinwashkly Dakota Molester. Other winning offspring of Tess are Roxy, Irish, Gigi, Maxine, Koko, Lucky, Clint, Lady, Ruby and Gwen. |

Ch. Kinwashkly Crash Test Dummy, on point. After retiring as a brood bitch, Tess ran in a limited number of field trials in the United States and needed just one win to become an AKC field champion. She enjoying being our house dog for the last five years of her life. Tess passed away at 13 years of age the spring of 2009.
